At around 3:20pm on Saturday 11 March 2023, police were called to Wilbraham Road, Manchester, to reports of an acid attack.
A man in his 20s was assaulted by a woman who threw a substance over him.
The man did not require any treatment and he did not sustain any serious or long term injuries.
Following enquiries by officers the liquid is no longer believed to be acid.
