Officers are appealing for information following an assault in Stockport

At around 1am on Saturday 18 February 2023, officers responded to reports of an assault on Vernon Street in Stockport.

The victim, who it is believed tried to intervene, suffered a blow to the head and facial injuries after falling to the floor, that were thankfully not deemed life threatening.

GMP are now looking to identify and speak to this man in the clip who they believe has vital information that can help with the investigation.
