Officers were called to Harridge Avenue in Tameside yesterday (Wednesday 3 May 2023) at 17.38 hours, to reports of pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
Colleagues from NWAS also attended the scene to treat the woman who sustained a life-threatening head injury as a result of the collision.
Sergeant Louse Warhurst of SCIU said: “This was a tragic collision that has left a woman with severe head injuries.
“We are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was on Harridge Avenue around the time it happened and may have dashcam footage, to get in touch with us.
