Detectives investigating the deaths of four Vietnamese nationals at Bismark House Mill have today (Wednesday 17 May 2023) arrested a fourth suspect.
The 36-year-old man was arrested at a police station this morning on suspicion of manslaughter, cultivation of cannabis and participating in the activities of an organised crime group. He remains in police custody for questioning.
A 34-year-old man arrested last week remains on bail along with two other people.
The remains of Uoc Van Nguyen, Cuong Van Chu, Duong Van Nguyen and Nam Thanh Lee were recovered during a six-month search of the mill, which had been subject to a fire on Saturday 7 May 2022.
The search was initiated after demolition workers discovered human remains on Saturday 23 July 2022.
