Greater Manchester Police responded to reports of a sexual assault on a woman back on Tuesday 7 March 2023 at around 7:15pm on Wilmslow Road in Manchester.
Enquiries are still ongoing at this time with no arrests made, but officers would like to identify and speak to this man pictured who they believe has vital information that could help them.
PC Muhammad Bilal of GMP’s City of Manchester district said; “We are now in a position to appeal to the public to help with our investigation. As a force we take these kind of incidents seriously after what was an unprovoked attack on a woman in our community on her way back home from work.
“Our enquiries are continuing and thankfully no serious injuries were sustained by the victim, however they have understandably been left shaken by the incident and is being supported throughout.”
Any details can be passed on directly to GMP by calling 101 quoting incident 3391 of 07/03/2023. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
