Clone Zone was attacked again yesterday evening (Monday 22 May 2023) at approximately 5.50pm, using the same MO as the three previous incidents.
Causing approximately £4,000 in damage, two men approached the store on a bike, with the passenger jumping off to smash the glass panels in both doors. Seconds later, they made off up Sackville Street, turning left onto Bloom Street.
Officers believe that the bike used in this attack, is the same bike used in a previous attack and they are appealing for the public’s help in locating it. It is described as being a distinctive red/orange off-road style GASGAS branded bike.
The images below show the bike being used in the most recent attack on 22 May 2023, as well as the incident on 24 April 2023. Other bikes were used during the other attacks, on Thursday 13 April 2023 and Wednesday 22 March 2023.
