Appeal for information following fatal collision on Moss Lane in Manchester

Yesterday evening (Monday 6 November 2023), at approximately 11:20pm, officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Moss Lane East in Manchester.

The incident involved a BMW, which was travelling along Moss Lane East, away from Princess Road and towards Upper Lloyd St. The BMW was in collision with a Toyota and a 25-year-old woman who was a passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she tragically passed away a short time later.

A 35-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Officers would now like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision - or who has relevant footage including mobile, dashcam or CCTV footage - to report it to GMP.
