At around 3.50am this morning (Friday 17 November 2023), GMP were called to assist colleagues in the fire service following a fire at a property on Oldham Road in Rochdale.
The occupants of the property were uninjured.
Detective Constable Hardcastle of GMP Rochdale CID, said: “Understandably, this incident has created concern in the local community, and we would like to reassure the public that a team of detectives are conducting extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and identify those responsible.
