The family of a woman who sadly died have paid tribute to her.
Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a concern for welfare of a female near the Roch River in Bury on Saturday 18 November 2023.
Sadly, officers found the body of Sharon Healey the following morning. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
Sharon’s family have paid tribute to her and said the following:
“Sharon was known as a bubbly, outgoing and caring person. She would offer time as a volunteer to help people in the community. She loved to attend social events with her friends and family.
“Sharon was a well-liked member of the community and local church. Her last achievement was completing a degree in criminology and psychology which she liked doing.
“Her youngest children said how much their mum enjoyed taking them to the park and in her spare times reading at home.
“She is sadly missed by her parents, children, brother, family and close friends. At this time, we ask for privacy while we grieve.”
