A man has been charged with a number of offences relating to sexual communication and assault.
Scott Kirkham (07/02/2002) from the Tameside area has been charged with the following offences:
- Engaging in sexual communication with a child including inciting sexual activity
- Malicious communications
- Grooming and sexual assault, occurring actual bodily harm
- Engaging in penetrative sexual activity of a child
He has been bailed ahead of his next appearance at Tameside Magistrates Court on Thursday 16 November 2023.
These charges are a result of an investigation by Greater Manchester Police’s Child Sexual Exploitation team into 40 offences from March 2020 to April 2021 where he used fake online accounts to engage in sexual communication before committing sexual assaults.
