A man in his 50s has died after being in collision with a bus in the Longsight area of Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for information following the incident on Stockport Road at around 4:50pm on Thursday 12 October 2023.
The bus had been travelling along Stockport Road and collided with the man while he was crossing at the junction with Richmond Grove East.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and but sadly died yesterday (17/10/23).
A 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving has been released on bail.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with relevant information or footage - including CCTV, dashcam or mobile - to get in touch by calling the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4742 quoting log 2527 of 12/10/2023.
