Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious injury collision occurred on Rochdale Road in Blackley last night (Tuesday 24 October 2023).
At around 9.25pm, a vehicle collided with a pedestrian, causing significant injuries believed to be life-changing.
The driver of the vehicle initially failed to stop but upon police being called to the scene, the vehicle was located parked nearby.
Officers arrested the driver, a 34-year-old man, on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident to come forward and help their enquiries.
