At around 11:30am on Saturday 21 October, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Manchester Street, Oldham.
Emergency services attended and a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving. He has since been bailed.
GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage, or CCTV from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
