A body found in the River Croal has now been formally identified as missing man Craig Hodkinson

Thirty-three-year-old Craig Hodkinson was last seen on Churchgate in Bolton around 5am on Wednesday 13 September 2023.

At around 16:40 hours on Sunday 17 September 2023, officers looking for Craig sadly found a body in the River Croal in Bolton.

Formal identification has now taken place and it has been confirmed to be the body of Mr Hodkinson. His next of kin have now been informed.
