A teenager has been charged with three counts of robbery and two attempted robberies in connection with a series of incidents in Manchester City Centre in recent weeks.
A juvenile, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with three robberies and two attempted robberies. He has been remanded into custody and will appear on Thursday 28 September at Manchester Magistrates court.
Detective Inspector Natalie McDonald of GMP's City Centre neighbourhood crime team, said: "This charge is part of an ongoing operation in the city centre and I would urge anyone with any information to contact us."
