Appeal for information after couple assaulted in Westhoughton

The incident occurred outside a pub on Market Street at around 11.23pm on January 27 2024.

Officers would like to speak with the male and female offenders in relation to this incident. The female is described as aged in her 50s, of medium build with blonde hair in a white bun, wearing a white and purple dress.

The male is described as aged in his 40s or 50s, of medium build, bald with no facial hair, tattoos and wearing a green t-shirt and jeans.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
