Serious collision investigators from Greater Manchester Police are carrying out enquiries after a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Stockport Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, at about 11:55pm on 24/4/24.
Sadly, the male aged 40 died later in hospital and his next of kin has been informed.
A man aged 29 was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A second man aged 23 later handed himself in and was also arrested on suspicion of the same crime.
Both suspects have been released on bail pending further investigations.
