It is believed that at around 11am on Saturday 6 April 2024, the victim was walking along a footpath on Lee Lane in Bolton, just off the town centre, when an unknown suspect snatched her handbag from her.
Thankfully, the victim did not suffer any serious injuries but was understandably shaken up and had soreness to her arm.
At this stage, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may recognise the person within the image or witnessed anything from around the time.
Anyone with any relevant doorbell, CCTV, or dashcam footage is additionally asked to come forward.
