On Tuesday 14 February in 2023, we were called to reports of concern for welfare of a man in Clarendon Park.
The victim was found beaten and unconscious. He was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries, and is still recovering in a care home.
Today (Friday 9 August) we have charged a man in connection.
Shannon Meaney (13/08/1990) of NFA has been charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates on 3 September.
