Officers are appealing for information following theft and assault at Blackwin Mini Market, Blackwin Street, Gorton on 17 March 2024.
At around 07:28am, a man was working alone on a shop floor, when another man entered the store with a suitcase and machete.
The victim reported the man who entered the shop was demanding money.
A physical altercation broke out between the men, which led to the victim being pushed to the floor and bread baskets being thrown at him.
The suspect was then able to grab the till before running out of the store to his left, in the direction of the park towards Gorton Lane.
Officers would like to speak to the man pictured.
