Daniel Eastmond (27/11/1983) of Lime Green Road, Oldham, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Tameside Magistrates Court on Friday 20 December 2024.
These charges related to a firearms discharge that took place on Friday 15 November 2024 Crompton Street in Oldham, where thankfully, no one was injured.
Detective Inspector Richard Castley from our Serious Organised Crime Group said: “We have managed to secure a charge against a man for an incident that happened just over a month ago – our investigation has been meticulous and is still ongoing.
"Thanks to our proactive efforts, we are helping to prevent harm and protect our communities from further acts of violence.
"Although most firearm incidents are targeted and do not pose a broader risk to the public, we understand the fear and distress they cause in our communities.”
