Simon Davies (04/05/73) of no fixed abode, Bolton, has been charged with four counts of residential burglary, one count of handling stolen goods, one count of fraud and one count of common assault.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchetser Magistrates today (Saturday 3 February 2024).
These charges are a result of an in-depth investigation into a spate of burglaries in Bolton.
Police Sergeant Nick White of GMP Bolton Neighbourhood Crime Team said: “We take a dedicated and proactive approach to tackling burglary and we will continue to work hard to reduce burglaries in Bolton.
"I would urge members of the public to continue to assist us where possible by remaining vigilant and utilising crime prevention advice on our website to help us help you to stay safe.
“Any information from the public relating to these types of offences assists us greatly with tracing offenders and recovering stolen property so I strongly urge anyone who has been the victim of a crime to report it to GMP via 101 or online via www.gmp.police.uk."
