Man charged following multi-vehicle crash on Regent Road, Salford

A man has been charged in connection with an incident in Salford which saw a road traffic collision on Regent Road.

Cristian Cabral (24/06/1994), of Lenthall Street, Liverpool, has been charged with the following:

-Taking a vehicle without consent 

-Inflicting grievous bodily harm 

-Possession of a bladed article in a public place 

-Failing to stop at an accident

-Failing to stop for police

He was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (20 February 2024).

Officers are continuing to appeal for information following the incident at around 9:20pm on Friday 16 February 2024.
