Officers are appealing for information following a road traffic collision on the Worthington Way junction with Ashton Road in Tameside.
At around 1.30pm yesterday (Monday 19 February 2024), officers were called to a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. She remains in hospital for treatment. The driver remained at the scene to assist officers with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
