Officers received reports of a group of men threatening a group of teenage boys to hand their phones over at around 6.15pm on the 7 January 2024 in the Arndale Centre.
From initial enquiries, it is believed that four men approached a group of four teenage boys and threatened them with violence before instructing them to hand over their mobile phones, along with two bottles of cologne.
No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made as of yet.
Officers investigating this incident have followed up on a number of lines of enquiry and are now in a position to ask for the public’s assistance.
Detective Constable Dahill-Rowan said: “We have now reached a stage in our investigation where we are looking to identify and speak to the men in the CCTV images as we believe they could assist with enquiries.
“Thankfully, no one was injured, but it has understandably left the victims shaken and will cause concern in the community.
