Greater Manchester Police have issued a tribute on behalf of the family of Alan Plimley from Bolton who sadly died at the scene after a road traffic collision on Blackburn Road in Egerton on Tuesday 30 January 2024 at around 4pm.
The 51-year-old who is remembered by his loved ones as ‘the best of the best’ said;
“Alan was a loving father, grandad, brother and son. He was the life and soul of a party, and would light up the room as result.
“He was a very funny and charming man and life will not be the same without him now.
“Everybody loves you Alan, always and forever and until we meet again x.”
Alan’s family have asked for continued privacy whilst they continue to grieve for their tragic loss.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident - or may have dashcam, CCTV or mobile footage from the area at the time of the incident - to please share it with officers to assist their enquiries.
