Police were called at around 6pm on Friday 5 January 2024, to a report of a collision involving a motorbike and a car on the A58, Park Road, Westhoughton on the junction of Cricketers Way
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30’s suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains to receive treatment.
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 70’s was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are on-going into the circumstances of the collision and officers want to hear from any witnesses or residents nearby, who may have seen anything, or captured anything on CCTV or dash cam footage at the time.
