Police are appealing for information after an aggravated burglary in Hyde.
The incident took place at a property on Osbourne Road, Hyde at around 5.50pm on Friday 22 December 2023,
The victim was at home when a man knocked on her door and shouted ‘Amazon’, believing him to be delivering a parcel the victim opened the door.
Once the door had been opened the suspect forced his way inside, pulled out a pen knife and demanded that the victim hand over her jewellery.
The suspect was able to steal a valuable engagement ring and a watch before making off in an unknown direction.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward and support their investigation.
