Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a serious assault in Swinton this morning (Friday 26 January).
Officers were called to reports of an incident taking place on Malcolm Avenue in Swinton at around 8.07am.
A man was seriously assaulted and attended Salford Royal Hospital for treatment to his injuries, which are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Police are now appealing for anyone with Ring doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage that can assist their investigation to come forward.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw a black Audi and white VW Golf acting suspiciously in the area at the time.
