Two more men charged with murder of Sadiq Al-lami

Abdul Wahab Babar (17/03/2005) of Ashdale Drive, Manchester and Sikander Babar (24/09/1999) also of Ashdale Drive, Manchester have been charged with the murder of Sadiq Al-lami.

They have been remanded in custody and will both appear at Tameside Magistrates Court tomorrow (Thursday 1 February 2024).

A total of four people have now been charged with murder in relation to this investigation. Noraiz Kamal (18/01/2006) and Sultan Bakr (04/12/2001) remain in custody.

GMP’s Major Incident Team still want to hear from anyone who believes they may have CCTV or dashcam footage, or who witnessed anything which could assist officers with their investigation by calling 101 and quoting log 166 of 23/01/2024.
