Officers are appealing for information after a bike was reportedly stolen at knifepoint in Failsworth.
At around 1.45pm on Friday 19 June, a man was cycling to the Rochdale canal via Ridgefield Street, where he noticed two males on the pathway as he went over the bridge.
He was struck by one of them, before the other pulled out a knife and took his bike from him.
The bike - similar to the one pictured - is a black Trek pedal bike.
Officers are now hoping to speak to two people as they continue their enquiries.
The first is described as a black male, approximately 6ft tall, with a stocky build and in his early 20s. He had black afro style hair, a black stubble around the chin area, and was wearing a black bubble coat and black tracksuit bottoms.
The second male is described as being Asian, around 5ft10, with a skinny build and in his early 20s. He was wearing a bubble coat with a hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and with a wispy beard.
