Officers were called to Wilbraham Road in Chorlton at around 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 23 July 2024) following a road traffic collision.
Taking place at the junction with Lloyd Street South, it involved an Audi Q2 and off-road bike.
The rider of the off-road bike, an 18-year-old suffered injuries that are believed to be life-threatening and is still receiving treatment.
Detective Constable Rachael Stafford from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) said; “Since the incident yesterday we are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to a young rider suffering serious injury.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or may have doorbell or dashcam footage in the moments leading up to, during or after the collision.
