Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious sexual assault in Oldham.
A woman was sexually assaulted in Alexandra Park around 11pm on Monday 15 July 2024.
The investigation team are now seeking the identity of a male offender to help their investigation.
DS Brereton said: “Although we believe this to be an isolated incident, we would encourage anyone to avoid the park area at night time.
“Our officers have increased their patrols of the area and are on hand to help you. Don’t be alarmed if you see more officers in the local area – please feel free to speak to them if you have any questions.
“Our investigation is progressing and we are now appealing for people to come forward and help our investigation – no piece of information is too small.
“Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage can contact police on 0161 856 2518, quoting the log number 218 of 16/07/24.
