A man has been charged in connection with an investigation by Operation Vulcan into robberies in Manchester City centre.

Simon Quest (08/05/1987), of Maine Road, Manchester, has been charged with two counts of robbery and possession of class A drugs. He is next due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on 17 July 2024.

Detective Sergeant Matt Donnelly from Operation Vulcan said: “As we continue with our work in Piccadilly Gardens, I hope this charge demonstrates our commitment to tackling reports of crime and ensuring the area remains safe for visitors.
