Detectives investigating a serious assault in Trafford that left a man with life-changing injuries have arrested a 32 year old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in custody at this time for questioning.
The arrest follows an assault which occurred at around 2:10am on Saturday 8 June 2024 in a premises on the Causeway in Altrincham. A 52 year old man was left with serious injuries after he was pushed down a flight of stairs.
He remains in hospital for treatment.
