Man charged with Section 18 assault following incident in Altrincham on Saturday 8 June 2024

Niall Peak (09/08/1991) of No Fixed Abode has been charged with Section 18 assault.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Minshull Street Crown Court on Monday 15 July 2024.
This charge relates to an incident which occurred on the Causeway in Altrincham on Saturday 8 June 2024 at around 2.10am, which saw a 52-year-old man pushed down a flight of stairs and left with life-changing injuries.
The victim remains in hospital.
