At 2.17am on Friday 7 June 2024, we were called to a road traffic collision on Great Cheetham Street East in Salford.
Officers and paramedics attended and despite the best efforts of emergency services a man in his 50’s has sadly passed away.
One man in his 40’s has been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have any dash cam footage to contact them on 0161 856 4741, quoting log number 223 of 07/06/2024.
