At around 6pm on Saturday 29 June, officers responded to an incident on Marcliffe Drive where the driver of a motorcycle left the scene after colliding with a parked vehicle.
Enquiries are continuing to locate this person to understand if they have any serious injury.
Sergeant Colleen Barrow from our City of Manchester North response said; “Since the incident, we are keeping an open mind as to what happened, but would like to locate and speak to the person involved in this so we can understand more and make sure they don’t have any lasting serious injuries that might need medical attention.
“Our initial investigation is ongoing, but we would like residents to check their doorbell and CCTV footage again or if anyone was in the area before, during or after and has any dashcam footage, this includes if they saw something that may have caused suspicion. Any detail, however small, can be shared with us direct by calling 101 quoting incident 2713 of 29/06/2024.
“Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
