A teenager has been charged in connection with reports of several incidents which occurred around the Queen's Park area yesterday morning (21 June).
A 16-year-old boy, who can’t be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted robbery, attempted rape, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, kidnap, assault, and stalking.
He was remanded to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today (22/06/24).
Officers are still continuing with their investigation and are appealing for anyone with any information, or who may have seen some suspicious actions or items in the area, to please come forward. This includes anyone who may have possession of CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage.
Detective Sergeant Carla Deighton said: “While we have secured a charge, we are continuing to appeal for information. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed anything yesterday to please get in touch with us.
