Three charged in connection with the murder of a man in Bolton

This morning (9/6/24), two men and one woman were charged by police in connection with the murder of a 35-year-old man in Bolton.
Paul Simmons (DOB: 5/2/76) of Bradford Street, Bolton is charged with murder.
Jordan Downes (DOB: 21/8/92) of no fixed abode is charged with assisting an offender.
Kelly Hughes (DOB. 23/09/86) of no fixed abode is charged with obstruct police
All have been remanded into custody and will appear at Bolton Magistrates court tomorrow (10 June).
Another 40-year-old man also arrested has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
The charges relate to an incident on Friday 7 June 2024, when police were called at around 7:15pm to reports that a man had been stabbed on Bradford Street in Bolton. He was taken to hospital but tragically passed away as a result of his injuries.
