At around 6pm on Tuesday, 5 March, officers responded to a report of a concern for welfare at a property in Barton Walk, Bolton.
Upon arrival, a man was sadly found deceased. A 34-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been released on bail.
Greater Manchester Police can confirm the victim’s name as 37-year-old Graham Cox.
A spokesperson from Graham’s family said: “We are absolutely devastated and have no words to describe the pain we are feeling at this moment in time.
“We would like everyone to respect our privacy during this terrible situation."
