Operation Vulcan make international news as ABC Australia join the team on raids

Operation Vulcan feature in the season premiere of 'Foreign Correspondent' by ABC Australia, uncovering the very real and sinister cost of counterfeits.

Operation Vulcan is GMP’s multi-agency operation which blitzed the infamous area of Cheetham Hill which had earned the unfortunate moniker of ‘counterfeit capital of Europe.’

Looking back since we launched in October 2022, there’s been numerous record-breaking busts which placed Operation Vulcan onto the global stage, including a 580 tonne counterfeit seizure which was believed to be one of the largest single seizures worldwide, and a multimillion-pound prescription drugs seizure.
