Police appeal for information after a serious collision in Rochdale

At around 7.45pm yesterday (Sunday 3 March 2024), officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Wildhouse Lane in Milnrow, Rochdale, between two vehicles.
It is believed that a Nissan Micra travelling northbound collided with a BMW One Series heading in the opposite direction.
The driver and passenger from the BMW sustained minor injuries whereas the driver of the Nissan remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
