On Sunday 10 March 2024, at around 11pm, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a robbery of a dark silver e-bike in an alleyway connecting Malton Avenue, to Sawley Avenue, in Bury.
It’s believed that two suspects, wearing balaclavas, stole the bike and left towards Sawley Avenue.
The stolen e-bike has distinctive features including red grips, purple pedals, and a ripped black and green seat.
Police are following several lines of enquiry but would like to appeal to the public who may have vital information or footage.
Police are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the area that evening, or who perhaps lives on Sawley Avenue or the surrounding area and has CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage.
If you have any information, please call police on 101 quoting log 2900 of 10/3/24. Alternatively, if you would prefer to stay anonymous, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or online at https://crimestoppers-uk.org/.
