Operation Vulcan have charged 19 people with 36 drug offences including conspiracy to supply class A drugs and possession with intent to supply.
They have been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today (Thursday 16 May).
These charges are in connection with a major undercover operation which has been running in Piccadilly Gardens over the past few months.
Detective Sergeant Matt Donnelly from Operation Vulcan said: “We are determined to work with our partners across the city centre to tackle drug related crime, disrupt the criminal networks behind it, and ensure the vulnerable people effected receive the very best care and support from specialist support services."

Sanni Younouss (07/05/2002) of Platt Lane, Manchester, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroine and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
Mohammed Omar (15/11/2000) of Greengate, Salford, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
Abdoulie Conteh (04/12/1996) of Hall Street, Swinton, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon.

Thomas Hulme (27/11/2005) of no fixed abode, has been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Julius Cole (16/07/2003) of Marlington Drive, Manchester, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
Kendal Smith (11/03/1998) of Brookcroft Road, Wythenshawe, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
Ryan Chadwick (05/02/1996) of Brookcroft Road, Wythenshawe, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
Justin Shaw (04/03/02) of Richmond Grove East, Manchester, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
Whilst a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Three men were bailed pending further enquiries.
