Officers in Manchester City Centre investigating a report of upskirting are appealing to identify the man in these images.
The incident is alleged to have occurred on Peter Street on Saturday 14th October, but was reported to us last month after being captured in video posted online.
Upskirting is the act of taking images or videos up someone’s clothing without their consent.
PC Melissa Walker-Byrne said, “This incident is a blatant breach of the victim’s privacy and dignity. It is also a clear example of predatory behaviour, which we are working hard with partners and licensed venues in the city centre to tackle.
“There is no circumstance where it is appropriate to upskirt someone without their knowledge and I’m calling on the public to help us identify who is responsible.”
Anyone with any information should contact us on 101 quoting log 2720 of 21 April 2024. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you would prefer to give information anonymously.
