Officers are appealing for information following an assault which took place at around 11:30am on Saturday 4 May 2024 near to the junction of Kirkmanshulme Lane and Stockport Road in Longsight, Manchester.
Detective Sergeant Dave Bird of GMP City of Manchester Division said: "This was a vicious attack whereby a man hit a woman multiple times. After the assault, they both got into a taxi and left along Kirkmanshulme Lane.
"We are keen to trace the whereabouts of the pair and appealing for any witnesses to this attack. We are particularly interested in speaking with the taxi driver or viewing any dash cam footage that drivers in the area may have captured of the incident."
