Three men have been charged as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs across Greater Manchester.
Our officers from the Bolton Challenger team carried out a series of warrants on Friday (10/5/24) and seized drugs and cash.
They were supported by our officers from Bury Challenger, the Tactical Aid Unit and neighbourhood officers.
Keiron Leonard (03/02/1993), of Corston Grove, Blackrod, Bolton; Mark Cosgrave (07/01/1973), of Medlock Way, Whitefield, Bury; and Rhys Shaw (07/05/1991), of Albert Road, Whitefield, Bury; have all been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Leonard has also been charged with possession of criminal property.
All three were remanded into custody when they appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and will be at Bolton Crown Court on 17 June 2024.
Detective Sergeant Paul Quinn, from our Bolton Challenger team, said: “I hope this action reassures the public that we are actively tackling suspected drug dealing and will listen to the concerns of our communities.
"If we suspect you have involvement in this type of criminality, we will come after you.
"Anybody who has any information or concerns regarding ongoing crime within their community should contact GMP on 101 or via the reporting tools on our website, or by calling Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111."
