Man charged for conveying items into prison

Mohammed Sharif (16/03/2003) from Birmingham has been charged with the following:
- Two counts of attempting to convey Article A into prison.
- Possession of Class B drugs and criminal property.
He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court on Thursday 28 November 2024.
These charges are a result of an investigation by officers from the City of Manchester North Challenger team into offences relating to drone incursions at HMP Manchester from September 2024 where several parcels were seized following a planned operation.
