Officers appeal for more information after two men assaulted by three other men in Wigan

Officers in Wigan are appealing for information following a serious assault of two men.

At around 5pm on Wednesday 6 November, two men were assaulted by three other males in the area of Scot Lane.

One of the male victims sadly died but it is not known at this stage whether injuries from the assault are directly linked to his death.

Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward and assist their investigation, particularly anyone who saw three men with baseball bats in the area of Scot Lane around this time.
